Even with the same words,
they don’t always mean the same thing.
In certain moments,
one person in front of you,
or everything else.
Neither can be called entirely wrong,
yet the decision comes first.
What you take as a basis
slightly shifts the meaning of the same act.
Between protecting one thing
and choosing the whole.
They don’t always point
in the same direction.
Even so,
people choose within relationships.
A hesitant choice
and a certain one.
They may look the same,
but carry something different.
In the same place,
seeing different things.
Within the same exchange,
taking in different meanings.
That difference
is not something to resolve,
but something that can remain as it is.
同じ言葉でも、
同じ意味とは限らない。
ある場面で、
目の前の一人か、
それ以外か。
どちらも間違いとは言い切れないまま、
判断だけが先にある。
何を基準にするかで、
同じ行為の意味は少しずれる。
一つを守ることと、
全体を選ぶことのあいだ。
同じ方向を向くとは限らない。
それでも、
人は関係の中で選ぶ。
迷いのある選択と、
迷いのない選択。
見た目は同じでも、
中身は違うかもしれない。
同じ場所で、
違うものを見る。
同じやり取りで、
違う意味を受け取る。
そのズレは、
埋めるものではなく、
そのまま置かれることがある。
